The skeletons on the wall at Fort Solfini on the other hand, don't give as much exp but they die very quickly and are grouped in large numbers. Also, they are not very well grouped so your running to the next mob after each kill.

Currently I'm leveling several level 75 characters and the Turga turtles take several hits for me to kill even with level 100 mercenaries helping. Many times the mobs with the most exp take longer to kill, have a very low number of spawn or are spread out pretty widely. I too use the Coryn Club and the problem with going with the mobs that give the most exp is that it doesn't factor in the exp/min. At least this +/-4 levels exp boost rule has already opened up a lot of different opportunities to level your chars. There's also the option to join a lively guild, as that is another easy way to open up more merc choices.Īnd yeah, whenever you start getting into the level 100+ range, you have to expect some level of grind. There's also other guides here that details the best types of merc so you know what to look out for. I would really advise to make more friends in game to have access to many more mercs (and to make a good one yourself!).

Its still 1HKO because you only need to tap it once and the mercs (and pet!) will go to town on it, doing all of the work. Also helps to have a decent merc of your own (mine is a very handy tank merc, allowing for easy tank and spank strategy). I myself am very fortunate to have a 2HS friend merc who sports a whopping 5.1k atk, that I save only for solo bosses farming (its too much overkill for this 1HKO method lol). To inform you though 1.7k merc attack power is pretty low. Great that you're following my little reference guide.
